After the show which is a combination of burlesque and drag perfomances and visual aid via projector of interviews within the black diaspora globally about black hair — a panel discussion will commence. Our esteemed guest Queerly Femmetastic will be conducting the panel with cast and audience. Our last panel was a lively discussion that revealed the biases, joys and tribulations of black people when it comes to our hair. This is more than a show. This is an education in the delicate reality of black hair and it’s appropriation but also the immense versatility and magic that we as black people possess. Celebrate Black History Month with us!
