REVIVAL: Songs for Social Justice and Spiritual Healing

The show will feature original music by Kristen Plylar-Moore, performed by Lea Kalisch, Julia Ostrov, and Lucy Warrington. Songs draw from Jewish, Christian, and secular themes of social justice, healing, and the celebration of the divine in each person.

"Green Beans & Mosquitos: A Recollection by two Women in the Americas" is a co-creation by Xio Evans Marni Rice Experimental Dance Theatre. Through movement, sound and text they explore the development of trade and agriculture, by women who worked the land and lost their share of it, for very different reasons. Through imagery and story, they show the inevitable strength of women and their role in shaping history.
