Men are cast on a very rare basis at WOW. WOW is an all-volunteer organization. Volunteers have the opportunity to work in anti-sexist crews in a 23-year-old tradition of women's theatre.

Submitting Scripts Occasionally, individual producers seek out scripts, always from women and trans artists only. Attending a meeting will be the best way to find out if your script might find a producer. If you can't come to a meeting, send it duplicate with all of your contact information to 59 e 4th st, 4th floor, NYC 10003, or email your script electronically as an attached .doc or .rtf file to info@wowcafe.org to be considered. WOW members often produce their own work, think about joining the group and get your voice heard! Auditions Auditions happen on an irregular but not infrequent basis at WOW, and are posted on this website periodically. If you would like to send your headshot to us, send it to 59 e 4th st, 4th floor, NYC 10003. Keep checking the web site or attend a meeting to find out what shows are casting in the near future. Designing & Stage Managing Set and costume designers as well as stage managers are in high demand at WOW. Volunteer positions will build piles of sweat equity and gratitude from life-long friends.
