Synopsis: Alexandre Pinto has just returned to her birth home to mourn her husband, Pierre, who died in an accident. Her housekeeper suggests she needs to use traditional methods of her people to go forward and start a new way of living. Alexandre’s late husband refused to separate from life and continues to haunt her.
A young girl, Bayo, is in crisis as her father is arranging a marriage against her wishes. Auntie Badria offers a way out through marriage to Alexandre, as a female husband. A contest arises when the ghost of Pierre competes for Alexandre’s attention as she begins to be attracted by Sidi, a man from Ghana.
